We offer care by appointment only for many scholar illnesses and injuries and preventative care. Fees incurred on the Scholar Health Middle are probably for medications that you simply obtain. The Health Heart, which is positioned on the Simmons Residence Campus, affords health care to Simmons undergraduate and graduate students, and is a provider of health providers to students at other area faculties as well.
ALL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A COMPLETE HEALTH TYPE ON FILE ON THE HEALTH HEART. These charges can either be added to your student account or will be paid in the Student Health Heart with a credit card or SU Bucks. College students who would like to get a TB test prior to the outreach can call the Health Center at (512) 245-2161 to schedule an appointment between semesters. Undergraduate, Graduate, Law and Seminary students are eligible for services on the Health Middle whereas registered in the current session.
Hammond Health Middle is closed from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m two Thursdays a month, with no companies available. Please arrive 10 minutes earlier than your appointment and use our handy Examine-In Kiosk. The Hammond Health Heart has been accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
